Speaking before a large crowd is not always easy and can be intimidating.
Fourteen participants received some helpful tips on how to develop effective presentation skills on June 24 at The Center for Rural Development’s Your Center of Learning communication seminar taught by a leading professional expert in communications studies.
Dr. Jennifer Fairchild, assistant professor of communication at Eastern Kentucky University, worked with participants to establish presentation outcomes, define and develop their presentation content, and master public speaking skills.
The one-day seminar was presented by Your Center of Learning, The Center’s workforce- and career-training program.
