Melissa Vermillion, grant writer for Hazard Community and Technical College, will cover the fundamentals of the grant-writing process as well as take a look at some of the common pitfalls and fatal flaws made while writing grant proposals.
She has successfully written grant applications to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Endowment for the Arts, Appalachian Regional Commission, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education TRIO programs, and several private funders.
