KidsFest is back!

Enjoy fun activities and games for the whole family at the next KidsFest event on Saturday, Aug. 15, at The Center for Rural Development.

The one-day event, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., will include more inflatable games and activities for children of all ages.

New Heights attractions, one of the KidsFest sponsors, is planning on bringing its Euro Bungee, Sponge Bob Bounce House, and a combo bounce/slide.

According to New Heights promotions, the four-station Euro Bungee allows up to four people to safely do a variety of aerial aerobatics. Safety cords are attached to the participants’ harness, and they are jumping on an inflatable air mattress. Jumper can do multiple flips, and jump as high as 25 feet.

Thanks to the generosity of the City of Somerset, another KidsFest sponsor, the New Heights inflatable games will be free.

This month’s event will also include free health and vision screenings from Walmart and child ID (identification) kits distributed by Somerset Police Department.

There is no admission charge to attend KidsFest. Free lunch will be provided by Walmart.
