It is critical for law enforcement professionals in every community to have the educational resources to foster strategic thinking and collaboration in order to recognize and mitigate potential terrorist threats.

The Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RDPC) and the Institute for Preventive Strategies (IPS) invite law enforcement professionals to participate in the Internet-based Homeland Security Terrorism Prevention Certificate Course for Law Enforcement Professionals

In this course, users will engage in an online scenario in which the goal is to detect and prevent a terrorist attack. The scenario, set in the fictional jurisdiction of San Luis Rey, will challenge the user to move beyond response-oriented training and think about what it truly takes to prevent a terrorist attack before it happens. Failure has dire consequences.

Register online for this interactive, web-based course for law enforcement professionals. It takes approximately eight hours to complete the training, which is available online 24/7.
