Can’t wait to see what performances are coming this season to the 2011-2012 Center Stage performing arts series?

The wait will soon be over. On Monday, Sept. 19, The Center for Rural Development and Lake Cumberland Performing Arts will unveil the new lineup for the 2011-2012 Center Stage season at the “It’s Showtime!” kickoff event and live radio remote from 4-6 p.m. (EST) with Clear Channel Lake Cumberland. The event will be held at The Center, located at 2292 South Highway 27 (at Traffic Light 15) in Somerset.

The free promotional event will give listeners and visitors who come to The Center in-person during the radio remote a chance to win tickets for individual Center Stage and Children’s Prime Time Theatre performances, as well as purchase new subscriptions to the Center Stage season.

For the first time, Center Stage will offer two season subscription packages. Patrons can purchase a set of five tickets for all five performances, or buy tickets for any three of the season’s shows, all at discounted prices. Those who attend the kickoff event will be able to purchase these two packages a day before new season subscriptions officially go on sale to the public.

“This way, you can pick from the best seats in the house that are available,” Dianna Winstead, associate director of arts, culture, and events at The Center, said. “You really don’t want to miss this great new opportunity.”

The kickoff event will be broadcast live on all Clear Channel Lake Cumberland radio stations, including the FM stations Classic Hits Q97, Lake 102.3, K93 Country and on the AM dial at 1240 WSFC and 910 WSFE.
