Approximately 700 Pulaski County elementary, middle, and high school students explored their creative talents and interests on Nov. 17 at EGAT (Exploring Gifts and Talents) Day at The Center for Rural Development.
Students worked one-on-one with professionals in the community to learn more about areas of interest in the creative and performing arts. Break-out sessions were held in a number of educational topics presented to students identified by the Pulaski County School District as gifted and talented in music, drama, art, dance, creativity, and leadership.
Another EGAT Day is planned by Pulaski County schools for the spring.
