In either case, The Center for Rural Development stands ready to provide the solutions you need through its newest one-day, instructor-led training courses to be presented by Your Center of Learning, The Center’s workforce- and career-training program.
The latest scheduled training courses to be delivered by The Center include the following:
- Excel I (Oct. 20) – Participants will learn how to use Microsoft Office Excel to manage, edit, and print data.
- Excel II (Nov. 3) – In this course, participants will use Microsoft Office Excel 2003 to streamline and enhance spreadsheets with templates, charts, graphics, and formulas.
- Intro to Personal Computers (WIN XP) (Nov. 10) – This course will help participants to identify system components, use input and output devices, manage files, use e-mail, and learn to browse the Web with Internet Explorer.
- Quickbooks 2008 (Nov. 17) – Participants will learn the fundamentals of using Quickbooks 2008 to track the finances of a small business, how to set up a new company, manage bank account transactions, maintain customer and vendor information, generate reports, create invoices and credit memos, set up budgets, and learn about backup data/protection.
All courses will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in one of the meeting rooms at The Center, located at 2292 South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light No. 15) in Somerset. The cost of each course is $149 per person unless noted otherwise.
